Train Like an Athlete our Coaching Team

At InsideOut Tennis Academy, we believe that strong performance on the court begins with proper athletic preparation off the court. Whether you play competitively or simply want to enjoy tennis longer and healthier, our tennis-specific conditioning sessions help improve strength, mobility, agility, and endurance. Our conditioning program—led by our expert Greg and supported by our coaching team—prepares your body for the physical demands of modern tennis.

An hour of singles tennis can burn 400–600 calories and requires a high level of aerobic capacity, coordination, and explosive movement. Our goal is to ensure your body is fully prepared for these demands.

Benefits of Tennis-Specific Conditioning

Through structured athletic training, we focus on developing the key physical attributes required for tennis performance.

  • Improved Endurance

  • Increase your aerobic capacity so you can maintain a high level of play throughout long matches.

  • Explosive Court Movement

  • Develop faster reaction times, acceleration, and change-of-direction ability—essential skills for effective court coverage.

  • Strength & Power

  • Build strong legs, a stable core, and resilient shoulders to generate more power in serves and groundstrokes.

  • Better Athletic Performance

  • Well-structured strength and conditioning programs improve agility, balance, and movement efficiency while reducing injury risk.

Injury Prevention & Long-Term Health

Tennis is a repetitive sport that places stress on joints such as the shoulders, elbows, knees, and hips. Proper conditioning helps protect these areas.

Our program emphasizes:

  • Tennis-Specific Warm-Ups

  • Dynamic preparation to activate muscles and prepare the body for high-intensity lateral movement.

  • Movement & Technique Alignment

  • Integrating physical training with tennis mechanics to avoid overuse injuries.

  • Recovery & Load Management

  • Understanding hydration, recovery routines, and training volume based on age and physical condition.

  • Well-designed conditioning programs strengthen vulnerable joints and help reduce the risk of common tennis injuries.

Adapt Your Fitness to Every Playing Environment

Whether you are competing on outdoor clay courts or indoor hard courts, our team helps you adapt your physical preparation so your body stays resilient in every condition.
